From June 30 to July 1, Ningxia Performing Arts Group’s Qinqiang Theater’s original modern Qinqiang opera “Sound of Flowers” was selected as a repertoire of “Excellent Stage Art Performances to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China” and was performed at Beijing Meilanfang Grand Theater After it caused a enthusiastic response, more than 1,000 spectators from all walks of life in the capital watched the performance.

Qin Opera “Sound of Flowers” was created in 2012. It is a masterpiece created by the creative team of Qin Opera Theater of Ningxia Performing Arts Group and Director Zhang Manjun. It is the first work of the “trilogy” of modern opera in Ningxia Qin Opera. Li Xiaoxiong and Zhang Tao lead the starring roles. Based on the traditional Qin opera genre, the play highlights the characteristics of flowers with the local customs of Ningxia in the style of epic drama, with unique sentiment and profound meaning.
