Rapper Killer Mike Arrested After Winning Three Grammys
LOS ANGELES, UNITED STATES.- After winning three Grammys, rapper Killer Mike was arrested and escorted by police from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where the 66th edition of the Recording Academy Awards is taking place.
Until now, the reason why the rapper, who won the awards for “Best Rap Song”, “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Album”, was detained by the police is unknown.
A reporter from The Hollywood Reporter captured the moment Killer was escorted by police officers outside the venue minutes before the awards gala began.
In the images you can see the singer walking handcuffed inside the Crypto.com arena while those present watched the scene in surprise.
Chris Gardner, a reporter for the media, mentioned that he spoke with a police official and assured that it was a minor crime “it has nothing to do with what happened here today inside the arena. Probably, he will be released once the problem is resolved.”
