DoNews, June 17 (Cheng Mengling) Global 3D and imaging technology company RealD and UME Cinemas jointly announced that their 136 theaters continue to use the RealD 3D system. Three of the cinemas will be remodeled and upgraded to RealD Cinema boutiques.
The reconstructed and upgraded RealD Cinema halls will be located in Chongqing Yuzhong Store, Chongqing Jiulongpo Store and Xi’an Xiaozhai Store in UME Cinema. The RealD ultimate screen required for the upgrade and the RealD image quality monitoring system are ready to enter the venue. Will meet with the audience again in July at the earliest.
This signing represents the solid partnership between RealD and UME Cinemas, as well as the affirmation of RealD’s premium cinema brand. UME and RealD established a partnership for the first time in 2013, and RealD 3D systems have been widely installed across the country.
