Actress Zhou Haimei’s Grave Site Revealed at Tianshou Cemetery in Beijing

In a recent announcement from Zhou Haimei’s studio, it was revealed that the late actress’s final resting place is at Tianshou Cemetery in Changping District, Beijing. The decision to bury Zhou Haimei in Beijing was made due to her strong connection to the city, where she had lived and worked for 21 years since the age of 36.

“Zhou Haimei chose Beijing because she liked the city and had spent a significant portion of her life here,” the studio stated. “Our family searched various locations in both Hong Kong and Beijing, and we believe that this new home is the most fitting. It was her favorite place, and it is convenient for her fans to pay their respects.”

Fans of Zhou Haimei have already visited her gravesite, sharing photos of the round tombstone surrounded by flowers and gifts from admirers. The outer ring of the tombstone is shaped like a movie film, with a portrait of Zhou Haimei in her iconic role as Zhou Zhiruo from “The Legend of Heaven and Dragon Sword” in the center.

Zhou Haimei’s portrayal of Zhou Zhiruo in the 1994 TV series made her a beloved figure in the hearts of many viewers. Even acclaimed author Jin Yong praised her performance, saying that he would have changed the ending of the story to suit her portrayal of the character.

Aside from her role as Zhou Zhiruo, Zhou Haimei also appeared in numerous classic films and television dramas, including “Intolerance,” “Rogue Tycoon,” and “The Legend of the Condor Heroes.” In 2018, she took on the role of Miejie Shitai in the remake of “The Legend of Heaven and the Dragon Slayer.”
