Sebastián Yatra remembered how he lived after separating from Tini: “I was burning a lot”

Sebastián Yatra opened up in an interview for GQ México magazine, revealing details about the difficult period he went through after his separation from Tini Stoessel. Yatra, known for hits like Traicionera, shared how comments and rumors of infidelities affected his emotional well-being.

The first year after the breakup with Tini was particularly complicated for Yatra. The negative comments and speculation about his personal life led him to take steps to deal with the situation. After working on projects in Spain and joining Ricky Martín and Enrique Iglesias’ tour in 2021, the overwhelming emotional burden led him to seek therapeutic help.

A therapist suggested Yatra take an intensive meditation retreat, and the singer decided to take a solo trip to northern India. Isolated and without distractions, he faced the challenge of dealing with his deepest thoughts. Although he initially planned an 11-day retreat, Yatra left early, acknowledging that he was “getting really burned out.”

“I was burning a lot. It’s you against your head. You find yourself in a kind of strange, crazy trance. “I don’t know what I was going to find in the end, but I didn’t get there,” she said.

The singer reflected on the intensity of the contrast and the difficulty of facing extreme loneliness. “I was taking a shower on a plane while they gave me caviar. “It was very intense to go from extreme loneliness to excessive luxury,” he noted, although he questioned not having been able to finish the retreat.

Sebastián noted that the pandemic affected his perspective on life. He acknowledged feeling alone and admitted that changes are sometimes painful. “I became aware of situations that I did not want to be part of. You get used to people and things and when you don’t have them in your life you feel like you are alone. Many times, changes hurt,” he shared.

In relation to his relationship with Tini, Yatra shared that although it was exciting and at times he felt like the protagonist of a romantic movie, he lost his individuality. “When a relationship of this type becomes so big, it is exciting, because it is like a romantic movie and you are the protagonist. But you also see that you are just part of that story. I was somewhat immature and I was not at the right time for that. “I felt like I was losing my individuality,” he commented.

Finally, he referred to the rumors of a romance with Danna Paola after separating from the Spanish Aitana. As expected, Sebastián denied any exchange of flirtatious messages. “However, I think that today there are still people who think that I was with her. Suddenly, I became the villain of the movie, for no apparent reason. I received a lot of criticism. I worry about what people think. “I also care about what is fair, right or wrong, and I felt like I didn’t deserve it,” he said.
