Shen Yun North America Continues to Wow Tucson Audience

The Shen Yun North America Performing Arts Troupe held its third and final local performance of the season at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall in Tucson, Arizona on the afternoon of February 11, 2024. And just like the previous two shows, the box office continued to be sold out.

The enthusiastic response from the audience was evident as they were moved by Shen Yun’s pure and beautiful artistic presentation and divine connotation. Tucson Police Deputy Chief Monica Pietro and University of Arizona Medical Center Project Management Operations Director Eduardo Encinas were among the crowd that watched the stunning performance.

Deputy Chief Pietro expressed her admiration for the perfect combination of Shen Yun dance and music, particularly praising the live orchestra accompaniment. She also appreciated the host’s explanations, which helped the audience better understand the story being portrayed in the dance drama.

Eduardo Encinas, on the other hand, mentioned feeling a surreal sensation upon watching the performance unfold. He admired the live orchestra capturing the unique sound of traditional Chinese instruments and was also full of praise for the beautiful and colorful costume design and the solo singing in Chinese.

Award-winning photographer Aaron Rayburn was also in attendance and was captivated by the show’s stunning colors and visuals. He described the performance as an outstanding and brilliant one, applauding the dancers for their exceptional skills and years of training.

Actress and stand-up comedian Sara Mirasola, who had been waiting to see Shen Yun for many years, also watched the performance and was moved to tears by its beauty. She appreciated Shen Yun’s representation of traditional Chinese culture through fables and dance, expressing that the performance was a magical experience for her.
