Snow Peak, a renowned Japanese outdoor camping brand, has made its mark in North America with the opening of its first campground, “Campfield”. Located on the picturesque Long Beach Peninsula in Washington, Campfield spans over 25 acres and offers a unique camping experience to outdoor enthusiasts.
The campground boasts three accommodation options for visitors to choose from. The luxurious “Jyubakos” micro cabins, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, feature a minimalist and square design with amenities such as a large bed, private bathroom, and kitchenette, accommodating up to two adults and two children. For a more traditional camping experience, the “Tent Suites” come fully equipped with tents, tables, fireplaces, and barbecue equipment. And for those seeking a closer connection to nature, the “Field Sites” allow campers to choose their own tent and gear and set up camp themselves.
Campfield also features the Campstore, a central store and lounge area on the site, complete with common areas, a drinks bar, and a Snow Peak shop for all camping essentials.
Summer and autumn reservations for Campfield are now open on the Snow Peak official website, with the “Jyubakos” cabins set to open in early July. Outdoor enthusiasts and camping enthusiasts are encouraged to book their stay and experience the beauty of Campfield firsthand.
