Fatimah grew up in Chicago with her grandparents because her parents had a lot to do at work. When she finally returned to her mother at some point, the relationship was difficult, especially because there was now another daughter.
Fatimah or “Noname” began writing poems during her school years and was very interested in poetry slams in her youth, especially the “def poetry slams”. At some point she finally took part in “Youmedia”, a program for young authors. At these slams she called herself “noname gypsy”, in German “nameless gypsy”. Through her appearances at the poetry slams, her fan base grew more and more, and she also got to know rappers like e.g chance the rapper know. and it was precisely at this stage that she was able to land her first guest appearances.
