This is not only the first time that Stray Kids has entered Billboard’s “Billboard 200” chart in four years since their debut, but they are also the third K-pop singer to top the chart after BTS and SuperM.
The billboard also talked about the official SNS, according to Luminate data, Stray Kids’ mini album “ODDINARY” sold 110,000 copies from March 18th to 24th.
In addition, Stray Kids’ ‘ODDINARY’ has more than 1.3 million pre-orders as of the 16th of this month, and the album’s first-week sales reached 853,021 on the Hanteo Chart in South Korea within two days of its release. Set its own record and topped the weekly album charts of Gaon Chart and Hanteo Chart.
To commemorate Stray Kids’ topping the “Billboard 200” chart, Stray Kids’ official SNS and YouTube channels also uploaded a video documenting the members’ activities behind the scenes, adding “We’ll go on…” at the end of the video and “ODDINARY” airborne “Billboard 200” No. 1 subtitle.
