It is Wednesday May 1st is Labor Day and different groups will mobilize in the country. In Neuquen organizations, guilds and unionswill participate in different events, from 10. One will be in the monument to the Worker and another in the monument to San Martín.

In line with the national call of the CGT, the Front of State Unions of Neuquén organized the event next Wednesday in the provincial capital to protest against the policies of the national government led by Javier Milei.

In a statement, they confirmed their adherence to the call of the labor union «with the conviction of the need to build the broadest unity in this context of adjustment and attack on the working class«.

The event, also called “in defense of salaries and pensions”, will take place from 10in the monument to the Worker, located on the corner of Avenida Olascoaga and Lanin in the capital of Neuquén.

From the union front they will participate Aten, Upcn, Sejun, Anel, Siprosapune, Sitramune/ Fasemp and Unavp. So far, they confirmed their UOCRA and the Banking Association also participated.

On the other hand, the Multisectorial of Neuquén called for another event at the monument to San Martín starting at 10. “There we will carry out the event in commemoration of this day of international struggle of the working class,” they announced.
