The City of Health of Turin alongside the Just the Woman I Am foot race

TURIN. The City of Health of Turin participates with the voluntary associations affiliated with the Company in the Just the Woman I Am event with the Cus Torino on the next 4, 5 and 6 March 2022. The 40 Associations that will be present in the Prevention Village ( piazza San Carlo) will be dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles, information on prevention, inclusion and gender equality as well as making free visits to citizens.
The activities that will be presented in the square will be divided into the following areas:
Area Materno-Infantile
pediatric cardiological and oncohematological pathologies, neonatal pathologies, specific learning disorder (SLD), such as dyslexia, diabetes, celiac disease, topical eczema and food allergies, spina bifida and hydrocephalus, in addition to various rare childhood diseases and liver transplants.
Adults Area
cardiological pathologies also with preventive visits, neurological diseases, such as juvenile parkinson’s, people with ostomies and / or incontinents, alcohol-related and complex problems, fight against bullying and violence, prevention of head and spinal injuries of road accidents and not only, rheumatic diseases autoimmune diseases, coagulopathies and haemophilias, Mediterranean anemia, hemodialysis-dialysis and transplantation, liver transplants, cochlear implants, ovarian-gynecological and breast cancers and more generally of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention in the oncology field. Activities are also carried out to promote and protect the rights of citizens and consumers.
