The helmet holder lands on the electric scooter

ROME – The evolution of the rules governing the circulation of electric scooters is upsetting the dreams of many users of these vehicles. Once the “deregulation” period is over, from next July there will be the obligation to equip scooters with direction indicators and stop lights, while for the helmet (already mandatory for under 18s) it is only a matter of time. Conceived as a means of great freedom, the obligation for everyone to wear a helmet could put a stop to the spread of the scooter also because the lack of a place to store it once you get off is not a minor obstacle.

The solution to the problem could come from “Carefol”, that is a helmet holder for electric scooters which, among other things, also contains an integrated UV sanitation system to guarantee sanitation when used by different users.

In these times of health emergency, which has not yet ended, this detail is very relevant especially for companies that offer sharing scooters. The original idea came to two young Korean designers, Jueun Lee and SooA Choi, who designed the device that can be easily applied to the steering tube of all scooters. The helmet holder, made of PVC with recycled materials, is equipped with an external hook that can be used as a support for the transport of shopping bags or light bags, while when the helmet is not stored inside it can be used as an object holder.

The dimensions of Carefol, with a square shape with rounded corners, are compact and do not exceed 327 mm while the transparent front door has the opening system by pressure or by means of a practical strap. The ultraviolet ray lamp, necessary for helmet sanitation, can instead be recharged via a normal USB socket.
