This Friday, the Minister of Health of the Province, Ricardo Pieckenstainer, was in Villa del Rosario. His visit was due to the supervision of the works carried out at the sterilization center that involved improvements in the water treatment plant and the incorporation of state-of-the-art equipment.
Among them are: a 150 liter steam sterilizer, a heat sealer, a transport cart, computer equipment and furniture.
The provincial official was able to speak with the authorities of the local hospital, highlighting the significant progress that the hospital had in terms of infrastructure and equipment, currently having 25 inpatient beds and eight intensive care beds.

Raúl Leguizamón, director of the hospital, accompanied Pieckenstainer on his tour of the diagnostic imaging service, which is now fully digitalized, thus allowing for optimization of care capacity. They also visited the boarding school, the ICU, the obstetric center, laboratory, infirmary and the pharmacy.
The San Vicente de Paul Hospital is a reference center not only in the Río Segundo department but also in the entire region, attending 7,500 monthly consultations per outpatient clinic, 5,000 per on-call, and 90 surgeries are performed monthly, including the specialties of gynecology, general surgery, ENT and traumatology.
