The Pumas 7s continue with their preparation for the continuity of the circuit and on this occasion there are five people from Córdoba who work at the Casa Pumas headquarters. Gastón Revol, Germán Schulz and Luciano González were joined by Facundo Pueyrredón (La Tablada) and Ignacio Gross (Tala RC, guest).

The Argentine team is facing a new challenge and, having completed five stages and with qualification for the Madrid Grand Final assured, it is getting ready to compete in the emblematic Sevens in Hong Kong which, on this occasion and after three decades (it is played there since 1994), says goodbye to the iconic stadium in the So Kon Po area; Starting in 2025, the contest will be held at the recently opened Kai Tak Sports Park (it is located on the mainland).

The Argentine team will travel to Hong Kong next Wednesday, March 27, and in the eliminatory stage of the competition, which will be held between April 5 and 7, they will meet in Zone B with New Zealand, the United States and Great Britain. In Group A France (recent winner of the Los Angeles Sevens), Fiji, Australia and Canada will compete. And in Zone C will be Ireland (second in the world ranking), Spain, Samoa and South Africa.

In the current Concentration, three SIC youth players participate as guest players, the brothers Estanislao and Gregorio Pérez Pardo and Joaquín Dragotto, and the Cordoban Ignacio Gross. The only rookie player in this citation is Ignacio Meabe (21 years old) from Corrientes, Taraguy’s flyhalf.
