the reasons to choose this place for the wedding

In an idyllic setting on the shores of Lake Moquehue, Mauro Olivera and Cynthia Jara said yes, uniting their lives in marriage in an emotional ceremony held last Saturday. The choice of this charming corner of Argentine Patagonia was not random, but a tribute to Mauro’s family roots and the deep connection he has with this land.

Mauro Olivera, originally from Neuquén capital, enthusiastically shared the reasons that led the couple to choose Lake Moquehue as the perfect setting for their sacred commitment. «I have family here in Moquehue; My grandfather, Lisandro Soto, was a native of this land. That connection was one of the reasons that led us to get married on this lake,” Mauro expressed with emotion.

The decision to get married at Lake Moquehue was born from a dream shared by the couple, and according to Mauro, reality exceeded all their expectations. «It was one of the places we saw so we could get married before God. We dreamed of this, and everything that came to pass was exactly what we envisioned for our lives. “We are very happy and proud,” shared the newlywed.

The couple, aged thirty-five and forty, have three children and are currently enjoying a few dream days in the paradise they consider Moquehue. «What we like most about Moquehue is everything: the lakes, nature, the araucaria, that imposing frame you have when you see the bright lakes. The tranquility that is breathed and lived here in Moquehue is beautiful,” added Cynthia Jara.

For Mauro, the connection with Moquehue is ancestral and rooted in his family. «I have been in love with this place since I was born. I’ve been coming here since I can remember because my grandfather lives here, my uncles all live here. The blood pulls, and by living far away and coming on vacation from time to time, it leads you to make decisions as beautiful as this, to be able, in the future, to rest every day in this beautiful place,” he concluded excitedly.
The wedding on the beach of Lake Moquehue not only sealed the union of two people in love, but it was also a tribute to family history and the natural beauty that characterizes this corner of Patagonia, which is an inspiration for love.
