Lanín National Park was covered in snow after the storm and they shared a video from a drone depicting how the place looked. They reported that for cleaning work that park rangers and brigade members are carrying out, dVarious areas of public use will remain closed until further notice.
From the park they reported that the following paths, beaches and areas of public use will remain closed until further notice:
– Areas: Yuco – Van Dorsser – Hua Hum – Pucara – Chachín.
– Path to Las Corinas lagoons.
– Ascent path to Cerro Mallo.
– Chachin Waterfall.
They asked tourists, neighbors and tourism providers to Do not travel through the area until the work is completed. Taking into account that, in natural environments and mountain roads, different climatic contingencies generate alterations that entail risks for people.
They pointed out that “It is essential to inform yourself about all the recommendations provided“, being under the absolute responsibility of the tourist providers and visitors not to respect the instructions.”
