The writer and journalist from the Vigezzo valley Benito Mazzi died at the age of 83. Over thirty books have been written, including novels, essays and short stories, many of which have also been translated abroad. He was born in Re in 1938 and he linked his life to the culture and the story, both of current events and of the past of his land.
