Univision Says Goodbye to Adamari Lopez’s Game Show: What Went Wrong?

After an abrupt and surprising departure from Telemundo, the Puerto Rican actress and presenter, Adamari Lopez, returned in January of this year to what was always his home. And, after several months of rumors, the professional signed a contract with TelevisaUnivision with a new and ambitious project.

“Who Will Fall?” was the name of the project that made the actress appear on the UniMas screens since January 8. This format was recorded in Uruguay and was a fun game show. “My beautiful people, I can finally tell you what I’m working on. “It’s something innovative and fun that I’m really enjoying,” he said on his Instagram account shortly before the premiere.

The program was broadcast on the sister network of Univision at 07:00 pm Eastern Time, a situation that had López very excited. “I am happy to have returned to television and to be close to you again. Thanks for the support,” expressed at the time through its digital platforms.

Although the game show represented the long-awaited return of the Puerto Rican to the channel where she was born, the audience was not very happy with the result and evidently they were not receptive to the program. According to figures from Nielsen in its first broadcast It reached 401 thousand viewers, 2 months later it gained between 200 and 300 thousand viewers.

But in its last week on the screens, on March 4, it suffered a debacle and accumulated only 280 thousand viewers. This would have caused the actress to leave the ranks of UniMas at least with this project, since currently share panel with Migbelis Castellanos, Amara La Negra, Dr. Nancy, and Karina Banda in the program “Desiguales.”

Did Univision rule out Adamari’s gameshow?

“Feared, hated and respected, know the full story of Griselda, the woman everyone is talking about in The Black Widow. Starting this Monday, March 18 at 7 pm ET on UniMas,” announces the Hispanic network. So far, Adamari has not issued an opinion on what has been rumored about his project.
