With a long and emotional round of applause in the courtyard of the building-atelier in Piazza Mignanelli, Valentino’s historic headquarters, yesterday the workers and collaborators bid farewell to Pierpaolo Piccioli, the designer who will leave the maison after 25 years. The embrace with Giancarlo Giammetti, founder of the brand together with Valentino Garavani, was also long and intense.
