Thus, after having infected both four and two wheels, next year under the aegis of the Union Internationale Motonautique the Uim-E1 World Championship reserved for electric boats will debut. The development of the single hull is proceeding at full speed and after the success of the first tests on the foils (the appendages that allow the hull to “fly” on the water) and the speed tests for the RaceBird, carried out on the Po, at the Uim-E1 they just have the name of the first team that will compete in the inaugural 2023 season.
The Venice Racing Team is a “made in Italy” team, created ad hoc to compete in this championship, and was already born with a soul closely linked to water and electric boats. In fact, the team was created to offer a focus and a platform for the many Venetian institutions and companies that share the desire to build a sustainable future.
The farsighted vision of the entrepreneur Francesco Pannoli, at the head of the entire operation, has made it possible to give life to this team with the collaboration of Claudio Iannelli, consultant for the energy system, Luigi Radice, world champion of offshore and expert in competitions and Eugenio Razelli, specialist in the motorsport sector.
