South Korean boy group VIXX member Hyuk, also known as Han Sang Hyuk, has officially entered the training center today, April 18, 2024. The youngest member of VIXX, born in 1995, will be fulfilling his military service duties as a social service worker after completing basic military training.
Hyuk is the last member of VIXX to serve in the military, and his brokerage company, Companion Company, has expressed their hope for more support and encouragement from fans as he embarks on this new chapter. The company has also announced that Hyuk will not hold a public enlistment event in order to ensure his safety and a smooth process.
Prior to his enlistment, Hyuk held a fan concert titled “2024 HYUK FAN CONCERT ‘Home'” at the Seoul Sungshin Women’s University, where he thanked fans for their support and promised to work hard to broaden his fan base. He also shared a photo of himself after getting a haircut on his official Instagram account, along with a touching photo of VIXX members bidding him farewell.
VIXX member N, also known as Cha Hak-yun, posted a photo of Hyuk’s back on a limited-time update on social media, writing, “My maknae, it’s a good trip and a good return.” Hyuk is expected to be discharged from the military on January 17, 2026.
Fans and supporters are encouraged to cheer for Hyuk during his military service and await his return to the entertainment scene.
