Wedding Expo at Bowers Museum Showcases Venue and Vendors

On March 16, 2024, the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, Orange County, hosted a wedding exhibition that showcased the museum as a potential wedding venue and featured 22 exhibitors offering exclusive discounts to attendees.

The exhibition took place in the museum’s oldest Spanish-style courtyard, which can accommodate more than 300 people and has been the site of numerous weddings, dinners, and dances. Museum staff expressed their hope that visitors would consider hosting their weddings at the historic venue.

One attendee, Matthew Pollack, attended the exhibition with his girlfriend and shared his excitement about the event. He praised the beautiful weather, friendly atmosphere, and the opportunity to learn more about wedding planning.

The exhibition featured unlimited champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and Western snacks, as well as raffles for attendees. The courtyard was adorned with beautiful flowers, ornaments, statues, and murals, creating a romantic and festive ambiance.

In addition to showcasing the venue, the exhibition also provided valuable information on wedding planning. Financial planner Hannah Sullivan discussed the importance of financial planning for weddings, while wedding officiant Carolyn & Norman Alexander shared their experience of conducting over 7,000 weddings in Southern California.

The event also featured vendors offering a range of services, from party rentals to catering. Signature Party Rentals, with over thirty years of experience, offered a variety of tableware and decorations for rent. Patina Catering and The Kitchen for Exploring Food showcased their catering services, providing attendees with a taste of their offerings.

Smaller vendors such as Patty’s Cakes and Desserts and Moonwood Coffee & Bread Catering provided attendees with a variety of delicious snacks and desserts. The Tolly Sheep, a specialty snack provider, offered unique treats such as marshmallows, popcorn, and customized desserts.

Overall, the wedding exhibition at the Bowers Museum was a success, highlighting the museum as a potential wedding venue and connecting attendees with vendors to help plan their special day. With its rich history and stunning architecture, the Bowers Museum continues to be a popular choice for couples seeking a unique and memorable wedding experience.
