Yves Rocher, the sixth edition of the Italian Terres des Femmes award starts

by admin

Since 2001, thanks to the Terre de Femmes Prize, the Yves Rocher Foundation has rewarded the initiatives of women committed to supporting biodiversity protection all over the world. The Award arrives in Italy in 2016. Since then, Yves Rocher Italia, supporting the Yves Rocher Foundation, has continued to increase opportunities and to recognize the commitment and value of women who, more and more, work for the good of nature and the protection of our planet by donating around 80 thousand euros and rewarding 12 women. Now the sixth edition starts with the opening of the applications (in the photo the winner of last year, Rebecca Zaccarini).

At the local level, the subsidized prizes will be 3, to increase opportunities and recognize the value of more and more women. Also this year the opportunity will also be offered to all the winners of past editions.

The dossiers received will be evaluated by a jury of experts, but it will be necessary to wait for the National Ceremony to find out who of the candidates will be awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. Applications for the sixth Terre de Femmes edition are open until 30 September 2021 (www.yves-rocher.it/terre-de-femmes)

On a global level, during the Terre de Femmes Grand Prix, in which all the first winners of the participating countries compete and participate, a further recognition is also assigned, that of the Special Mention of the jury. And again, in 2019, the Foundation also created the Terre de Femmes International Award which celebrates projects related to the theme that is redefined every year. Past themes have been linked to soil regeneration, the importance of seeds to preserve the food heritage and biodiversity. To know the subject of the edition of this edition we will have to wait until the end of the summer.
