Luca Travaglini, co-founder and co-CEO of the Planet Farms vertical farm, which produces healthy and sustainable food, is the Italian Tech Person of the Year, that is the person who in 2021 used technology in the best way to realize his dream and create a positive impact on society. The award was presented at the end of the event organized by the 2031 association – formerly the Gaetano Marzotto Award – in collaboration with Italian Tech, the hub of the GEDI group dedicated to the topics of technology, future and innovation. The director of Italian Tech, Riccardo Luna, led the evening that took place at the Milan Triennale together with Cristiano Seganfreddo, president of 2031 and Eleonora Chioda, director of Millionaire, which was also attended by Maurizio Molinari, director of Repubblica.
