Four people were injured in a road accident which occurred on the A4 motorway in the stretch between Latisana and Porpetto-San Giorgio di Nogaro, in the municipality of Udine, towards Trieste. For reasons not yet ascertained, shortly after midnight a car hit another car and four occupants were injured; none of them risk their lives.
The health workers sent by Sores arrived with two advanced rescue vehicles and a helicopter and transported the four injured to hospitals in the area, including the Santa Maria della Misericordia in Udine. Due to the severity of the injuries, all those involved were classified as yellow.
In addition to law enforcement personnel, firefighters also intervened on site to make the area and the accidented vehicles safe, as well as Autostrade Alto Adriatico personnel.
