Their flavor it’s really delicious and they manage to satiate most people’s appetites. What not everyone knows is that unfortunately they can have of side effects not to underestimate.

For some people they are even harmful and, precisely for this reason, always check the label before going to buy them.

You probably weren’t aware of it, but there are some types of asparagus that are better than others. This is because some of them grow in non-ideal places and which can compromise the health of the subject. Therefore, checking the origin of the vegetable is an accuracy that you must start doing when you go to the supermarket to buy them. The study conducted by these German scientists was done on both green and white asparagus. Unfortunately, after having analyzed several of them, it turned out that many of them contained pesticides, chemicals, chlorates and metals such as arsenic or cadmium.

A truly alarming result that shocked the readers of the well-known Markt magazine. The asparagus producing countries with the greatest risks they are just Spain and Peru. Unfortunately cadmium is a poison that should not be underestimated, as it can cause serious damage to the liver and kidneys. However, Italian asparagus has not been analysed, so it has not been possible to say whether or not they are harmful to humans.
