AUSL Modena – Anti-Covid vaccination, the days dedicated to free access throughout the province are back

The commitment and awareness-raising activity of the Modena Local Health Authority continues on the importance of getting vaccinated against Covid. After the December experience, in fact, the days dedicated to anti-Covid vaccination aimed in particular at all people aged 12 and over without chronic pathologies will be able to undergo vaccination against the Sars-Cov2 virus.

The main channel for booking and carrying out the anti-Covid vaccination remains general practitioners, who confirm themselves as the priority reference for citizens, given the widespread distribution across the territory, together with participating pharmacies.
For those who cannot turn to these channels, the alternative is the dedicated days that the Modena Local Health Authority will launch starting from Monday 15 January. The sessions, scheduled throughout the province and aimed at both healthy people and those suffering from chronic pathologies, will be free to access for all over 12s.

The dedicated days will once again involve the Community Paediatrics of the province, in this case for children aged 6 months to 11 years, both healthy and in fragile conditions.

In particular, the new formulation of the anti-Covid vaccine usually offers coverage for 12 months. Administration is recommended 6 months after the last dose received or the last infection (the date of the positive diagnostic test is valid), regardless of the number of previous events (doses received or diagnosis of infection).

Citizens are advised to bring all the health documentation in their possession and, if possible, the latest updated vaccination certificate, as well as an identity document, the informed consent form and the medical history sheet (available on the ASL website) already filled out.
