Bethesda: “Considering that “The Elder Scrolls VI” is still in the design stage”-The Elder Scrolls VI

by admin

“The Elder Scrolls VI” will be released at the same time as “Starfield” at E3 2018. Bethesda soon made it clear that the former is still in a very early stage of development and will be released after the launch of Starry Sky. At the E3 show in 2021, we now know that “Starry Sky” will be released in November next year, which means that “The Elder Scrolls VI” will not be released until 2023 at the earliest. But it sounds like the wait will be longer. Don’t expect too much to see the work in early 2023.

In an interview with The Telegraph, video game designer, producer and industry veteran Todd Howard shared the following information:

「[新的《星空》]Technology, Creation Engine 2, is for these two [遊戲] Built. This is like a new technology base. Most of our development work is now performed on Starry Sky, but everyone does everything, so these projects are a bit intertwined.

It’s good to think that “The Elder Scrolls 6” is still in the design stage… but we are checking the technology: “Does this handle what we want to do in this game?” Every game will have some new technology kits, so “The Elder Scrolls 6” will add some functions that the game needs to the Creation Engine 2. “

Since “The Elder Scrolls VI” is only in the design stage, we may not see it until 2024, 2025 or even later. Basically, be prepared for a long wait.

Thanks VGC
