Borromeo’s medical student falls into a cliff and dies in Valsassina

Giovanni Borsatti, 24, had already prepared his degree thesis. Solitary excursion to the Artavaggio plains

A slip on the path and he fell into a cliff at Piani di Artavaggio, in Valsassina. The body of Giovanni Borsatti, a medical student at the University of Pavia and a pupil of the Borromeo college who was 24, was found last night by the men of the Lecco mountain rescue team. He had fallen into a wooded and inaccessible area: nothing could be done to save him.
