The operation was signed by the Prana Ventures fund and a large pool of business angels that includes KF-Invest, Marco Bianchi (former CEO of Moca), Alessandro Braga (Chief Digital Officer of Talent Garden), Emanuele Cuccio (Director di Clessidra), Jacopo Pasquini (CEO of UX Boutique & in: ux), Francesco Pezcoller (Head of Vc of Bird & Bird) and Giorgio Sacconi (CEO of H-FARM Digital Marketing). Benefiting from the 700 thousand euro round seed is Aryel, a startup born in 2020 to offer solutions based on augmented reality for e-commerce and marketing.

Internalization and Web 3.0

The platform, as confirmed by the three founders (Mattia Salvi, who holds the role of CEO, Luca Petri and Leonardo Persico), has reached over 5,000 users (70% of which international) and it is precisely the opening on the foreign market that is one of Aryel’s prerogatives. A part of the capital raised will in fact be used to consolidate the expansion in the United States and Asia and the rest destined to optimize the product with a view to Web 3.0. The purpose of this platform is quickly explained: it takes just a few steps to create customized AR solutions to be applied to marketing strategies to improve campaign performance and make user experiences more interactive and immersive.

A few examples?

The “virtual try on” online pre-purchase of fashion and beauty accessories, or the three-dimensional visualization of the dishes offered on a menu or that of furnishing accessories for a home or even interactive gamification experiences. Among the companies already served by the startup there are well-known names such as Ferrero, Cisco and Lavazza. augmented reality, taking advantage of the increase in activities on an international scale and winking at trend phenomena such as Nft and Metaverse. The target audience of the company, at the moment, are digital service providers (the goal is to involve more than 250 partners around the world by the end of the year), and therefore marketing agencies, freelance professionals or consultancy companies active in various sectors that they want to extend their service portfolio by also offering AR solutions to their customers.
