CdS report cards – Impressive stretcher, Frattesi luxury change. Dimarco seems to have become Roberto Carlos

In the 3-0 with which Inter bulldozed Lazio in the Super Cup semi-final, the 8 in the report card given by Corriere dello Sport to Inzaghi and Dimarco, author of a ‘Roberto Carlos-style’ performance, stand out. For the rest, many 7s and some 7.5s, with 6 representing the lowest rating. Here are the report cards and ratings from the Roman newspaper for the Nerazzurri:

S. Inzaghi (all.) 8
Overflowing, like in Monza. Total domination, a target practice. Semi-final never in question, Sarri’s Lazio smashed with three goals, but the result could have taken on even greater dimensions. The Super Cup is his favorite hunting ground: on Monday, in the final against Napoli, he will be able to defend the title and go in search of his personal top five.

Sommer 6
He only has to work on the back ball and doesn’t make mistakes with his feet, participating in the build-up with Bastoni, Pavard and Acerbi.
Pavard 7
Well, very good, the former Bayern man. He comes out with ease, combining well with Barella and Darmian. Behind him he is a colossus, but above all he shows that he has entered the game mechanisms of Inter.
Unripe 7
He doesn’t let Ciro pass, if necessary he even holds him by the shirt, but he doesn’t give him a single good ball. Craft galore.
A. Sticks 7
Modern defender, an extra man to create solutions and unpredictability with his offensive insertions, as happens in Thuram’s goal. He releases himself at the right times. Inzaghi spares him and calls him back in the final.
De Vrij (23′ sts) 6
He comes in and knocks out Isaksen, without being sanctioned. He gets to the bottom with a trickle of gas.
Darmian 7
Intelligence, insertion times, quick pace. Thuram’s goal was born from his change of play. He attempts the shot several times, missing the double. Total master of the right wing.
Stretcher 7.5
Super condition, he develops an impressive volume of play and running: he guarantees width, giving support on the flank, but also interdiction and insertions through central routes. He hits the crossbar with a flying right. He’s on a warning and Simone calls him back, sapping his energies.
Frattesi (23′ st) 7
He adds running and dynamism when Inter, two goals up, are controlling the game. Luxury change. Fierce in overturning the action, as he demonstrated by scoring the 3-0 on the counterattack in front of Provedel.
Calhanoglu 7
He drops between the central defenders and manages to start Inter’s action every time. A playmaker with superior football intelligence and exquisite technique: he plays with one touch, speeding up the maneuver. He converts the penalty to double the lead.
Asllani (36′ st) st
Mkhitaryan 7
The Armenian slides easily behind Guendouzi and plays in an essential way: a decisive cog in Inter’s transmission shaft. He finishes with an assist to Frattesi. A caress of the outside.
Dimarco 8
He seems to have become Roberto Carlos, he has fun on the wing and manages to dominate it as if he were a number 10. He runs, invents, shoots. He draws a back-heel assist for Thuram, creates at least three or four more scoring chances, and doesn’t stop for an instant. May he greet you and assist him until the European Championship in June in Germany.
Thuram 7.5
The Frenchman immediately unleashes his shot: he raises his aim and misses the target, heads wide and finally unlocks the shot, demonstrating opportunism in front of goal. Romagnoli denies him a second just before the break. It’s a constant danger.
Sanchez (29’st) 6.5
He recovers the ball and starts the counterattack to make it 3-0, demonstrating that he enters the field with faith every time.
Lautaro Martinez 7
He moves as an attacking midfielder, making the opposite movement compared to Lazio’s defensive line. If Romagnoli and Gila “run away” towards Provedel, Toro comes towards them and gets the ball from the midfielders. He tries to score several times, but is blocked by the crossbar.
Arnautovic (29’ st) 6
A good quarter of an hour, giving support and breathing space to the midfielders.
