Celiac disease – a disease with many faces

“The global incidence of celiac disease is one to two percent – but nine out of ten people do not know anything about their disease,” says dietician Karin Dannerbauer, who works at the Freistadt Clinic, among other things. In order to spare these people a mostly long ordeal to be diagnosed, it is important to create awareness of this disease.
