Clean mattress with baking soda and citric acid

Once a month you should brush the mattress and vacuum it with a vacuum cleaner to remove any coarse dirt. You can clean the mattress with baking soda two to three times a year. Spread the dry powder on the mattress and leave it to work for about five hours. Then vacuum up the powder with a vacuum cleaner. This way, sweat stains can be effectively removed. Lemon and salt are also very suitable for urine, blood or mold stains. Rub the stain with salt and add a few drops of lemon juice. After an hour you can brush off the stain and treat it with water. Always remove fresh stains immediately. Wash the mattress cover once a year at at least 60 degrees.

Add a topper to your mattress for better protection. Also use a mattress protector to prevent stains. Wash it regularly at 60 degrees. When you get up, ventilate your bed well and put the duvet back. Ventilate your mattress regularly from below. Change your bed linen every one to two weeks and wash it at at least 60 degrees .Air your bedroom daily.
