In Tuscany 3,050 new cases, average age 37 years, 13 deaths

In Tuscany 3,050 new Covid cases (1,174 confirmed with molecular swab and 1,876 by rapid antigen test), bringing the total to 834,334 since the beginning of the health emergency from Coronavirus . New cases are 0.4% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.9% and reached 774,906 (92.9% of total cases). Today 8,647 molecular swabs and 20,516 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 10.5% were positive.

On the other hand, 5,518 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swabs, excluding the control swabs), of which 55.3% were positive. The currently positive are 50,648 today, -7.1% compared to yesterday. There are 1,021 hospitalized (23 fewer than yesterday), of which 61 in intensive care (5 fewer). Today there are 13 new deaths: 9 men and 4 women with an average age of 78.2 years. These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.

At 12.00 today a total of 8,490,300 vaccinations were carried out, 13,131 more than yesterday (+ 0.2%), bearing in mind that the companies of the Regional Health System continue for the whole day. Tuscany is the 7th region for% of doses administered out of those delivered (100% of the 8,488,879 delivered), for a vaccination rate of 229,911 per 100 thousand inhabitants (Italian average: 224,457 per 100 thousand).
