There are 22,527 new infections from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 9,429. The victims are instead 47, 7 more than yesterday. A total of 188,996 swabs with the positivity rate of 11.9%, down from 13.3% yesterday. 218 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 7 fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. Daily admissions are 17. There are 4,442 hospitalized in ordinary wards, or 202 fewer than yesterday.
Currently positive are 641,870, 6,186 fewer in the last 24 hours. A total of 17,490,451 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 166,922. The discharged and healed are 16,681,659, an increase of 28,948 compared to yesterday.
