The decree aimed at reducing waiting lists is expected within 15 days. The Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, said this in breaking latest news during the programmatic conference of Fratelli d’Italia.
“We will try to reduce waiting lists, they are a long-standing Italian problem”, and “this government really wants to tackle the problem and find solutions in a concrete way”, Schillaci said again. “We are working on a decree to combat waiting lists, we will present it in the next 15 days.” The minister then noted that to date in Italy there is no system for monitoring waiting lists: “we want finally in Italy, region by region, with a central management to control where and which services are missing”.
