Agenas data, national average at 43% (3 points above maximum level), 10 Regions far exceed it, Marche at 64%
Rome, March 24 (beraking latest news Salute) – The national average percentage of the occupation of Covid beds in ordinary wards of non-critical areas, i.e. infectious diseases, pulmonology and general medicine, continues to rise. Having remained below the critical threshold for months, set at 40% by the Ministry of Health, yesterday – the latest available data provided by the Agency for Health Services (Agenas) – reached 43%. A constant increase since last March 18, when the critical level was exceeded for the first time beyond which the ordinary care of other patients is compromised.
In particular, there are 10 Regions that pass it: the most critical situation is that of the Marche which sees these departments occupied for 64% by Covid patients, followed by Piedmont (61%), Emilia Romagna (56%), Lombardy ( 53%), Friuli Venezia Giulia and Puglia (49%), Umbria (45%), Abruzzo (44%), Lazio (42%) and Molise (41%),
