Rome, 1 April (beraking latest news Salute) – As of March 30, 2021, of the 106,789 (1.1%) patients who have died from Covid-19 under the age of 50 are 1,188. In particular, 282 of these were under the age of 40 (172 men and 110 women aged between 0 and 39). This is what emerges from the latest report of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità dedicated to the “Characteristics of patients who died positive for Sars-CoV-2 infection in Italy”, updated on 30 March.
No clinical information is available on 80 patients under 40 years of age; of the other patients, 164 had severe pre-existing pathologies (cardiovascular, renal, psychiatric pathologies, diabetes, obesity) and 38 had not been diagnosed with significant pathologies, the report reads.
