The Food and Drug Administration (Fda), or the US drug agency, authorizes a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine even in children. Therefore, after completion of the primary vaccine series, children aged 5 to 11 years are also given a booster dose to be administered at least five months after the last dose.
