Headache, acute encephalopathy and seizures are the most common neurological manifestations in children who have contracted an acute form of Covid-19 disease. 44% of pediatric patients who developed these symptoms are more likely to need intensive care than their peers who did not. This is what emerged from a study conducted by researchers from the Medical Center and the School of Medicine of the University of Pittsburgh and published in the scientific journal Pediatric Neurology.
