10 New Healthcare Assistants Trained at University of Brescia

At the end of 2023, the University of Brescia, in collaboration with the Ats della Val Padana, welcomed 10 new healthcare assistants who have completed their training in Cremona. Asia Aradori, Michelle Crystals, Samuel D’adda, Khadija Drissi, Kaur Sukhdeep, Giorgia Lari, Greta Mariani, Varughese Treesa, Veronica Zani, and Anna Zorza are the latest additions to the healthcare sector.

These new graduates will be able to immediately apply the skills they have acquired in the world of work. During their studies, each graduate acquired knowledge to read and analyze the health needs of individuals, families, and communities, and to promote their health through networking with other strategic sectors, both healthcare and non-healthcare.

According to Annalisa Longari, teaching coordinator of the course, health assistants have a long history of presence in the area, always oriented towards understanding health needs and dedicated to prevention, promotion, and health education. Longari emphasizes that the profession of health assistant should be considered a social asset and invites students completing their studies in secondary schools to consider the university training proposal, which also offers excellent job opportunities.

The University of Brescia’s healthcare degree course is providing valuable and practical training for the next generation of healthcare professionals, and the addition of these 10 new healthcare assistants will contribute to meeting the growing demand for skilled individuals in the healthcare sector.
