Game publisher Prime Matter and development team Night dive Studios released a new real-world gameplay trailer for the role-playing game System Shock at the 2022 PC Gaming Show online conference today.
“Cyber Shock” is a first-person role-playing game launched 28 years ago. This series of works was originally developed by Irrational Games, until the end of 2018, it was confirmed that Night Dive Studios obtained the development rights of the series; while “Network Shock Remake” ” will be a complete remake based on the 1994 release of “Cyber Shock”, which was launched in 2016 to raise funds and successfully reached the target.
Officially, the game development team Nightdive Studios worked closely with the original team members of “Cyber Shock”, including SHODAN’s voice actor Terri Brosius, to ensure that the remastered version retains the essence of the original while attracting the attention of new players.
In the game, players use a mix of stealth, deceit and futuristic weapons to traverse Citadel Station’s new areas, traps, puzzles and secrets to get to where SHODAN is. In addition, players will also face a group of hostile mutant creatures created and controlled by SHODAN, and must meet or flee to survive.
The PC version of Cyber Shock Remastered is now available for pre-order on Steam, GOG and the Epic Game Store, and the demo version is available for download. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions will be announced at a later date.
