Denied abortion has consequences for the health of women and families

“Science must have its say on abortion”. It is the title of the editorial written in Nature by the researcher of the University of California, specializing in reproductive health, Diana Greene Foster. In the aftermath of the revelations of the Politico site, on the intentions of the American Supreme Court to overturn a 1973 sentence and make abortion illegal, the scientific world is mobilized.

Because almost always, as Greene Foster also maintains, the decisions taken on this issue and on the skin of women, do not have a scientific basis but only ideological and political.
