Department of Health Calls for Grants to Fund Addiction Prevention and Emotional Well-Being Programs

The Department of Health, through the Institute of Public and Occupational Health of Navarra (ISPLN) / Nafarroako Osasun Publikoaren eta Lan Osasunaren Institutua (NOPLOI), has announced three calls for grants to finance addiction prevention and promotion programs of emotional well-being. With a budget of over 770,000 euros, these calls aim to promote social action in health.

Local and social entities engaged in addiction prevention and emotional well-being promotion programs have until February 27 to submit their applications electronically through the portal www.navarra.es.

These grants are intended for projects carried out between December 1, 2023, and November 30, 2024. The programs must align with the guidelines promoted by the Department of Health, particularly those that coincide with the objectives of the Navarra Public Health Plan 2022-2025. In the previous year, 105 entities benefited from these grant calls to support health programs.

There are three specific calls for grants, each with its own budget and specific criteria. The calls include Community programs to promote emotional well-being totaling 200,000 euros, Municipal addiction prevention plans totaling 310,419 euros, and Addiction prevention programs at the community level totaling 268,000 euros.

The rest of the ISPLN/NOPLOI’s annual calls related to health prevention and promotion, aging, affective-sexual education, and HIV-AIDS are scheduled to be published in the BON starting in April. This initiative aims to support and fund programs and actions aimed at improving the health and emotional well-being of individuals within the community.
