The competitive dodgeball game “Dodgeball Commando” will receive a series of improvements on the new generation of consoles on November 2nd. This competitive work will be able to provide you with a choice between a 4K 120fps performance mode and a quality mode that runs natively at 4K 60fps after the upgrade. This wave of updates is free and open to all players, regardless of whether they buy the game or through PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
In a blog post, Velan Studios showed some side-by-side comparisons between versions. The lighting function in the next-generation version has been enhanced, and now the area has better lighting and more natural shadows. The textures here are now also more detailed, giving the huge dodgeball battlefield a more realistic appearance.
Below you can see the differences of each format:
- PlayStation 5: Native 4K at 60FPS or 1440p at 120FPS (enlarged to 4K)
- Xbox Series X: Native 4K at 60FPS or 1620p at 120FPS (zoomed in to 4K)
- Xbox Series S: 1440p 60FPS, or 1080p 120FPS
