DTx, truly effective digital therapies: so why doesn’t Italy trust them?

Algorithms as drugs. In various formulations: video games, sensors, virtual coaches… And to treat a long list of diseases: from depression to hypertension to insomnia, diabetes, hyperactivity disorder and many more. These are the so-called digital therapies (DTx), real medical treatments that can be “administered” on prescription and complete with a leaflet.

They should therefore not be confused with the simple Apps that can be downloaded from online stores.
