Yesterday was the open day in the Bavarian state parliament. Unfortunately, I missed the appearance of the current Prime Minister Markus Söder. That’s why I met the former Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber – he really looks a lot like the cabaret artist Wolfgang Krebs.
After a constructive exchange of political opinions, we decided to work together to design a Transrapid route from the main train station to Neuschwanstein Castle, to extend the Nuremberg bratwurst to normal size and to reactivate him in foreign policy soon – as Bavarian ambassador to Franconia.
At the end he awarded me the black horizontal ribbon with a white and blue back, one of Bavaria’s highest honors in the early evening. He brought his own gingerbread heart, but I didn’t have one with me yesterday.
