Lombardy Region Continues Push for Dematerialized Medical Prescriptions
The Lombardy Region has announced that there will be no interruption in the sending of dematerialized medical prescriptions via email or text message for those who have not confirmed the service by tomorrow, 30 April. Initially, the region had requested that all citizens confirm the service by this date, but only 50% of those with an active online profile have done so.
The regional Welfare department is determined to continue the awareness-raising process to ensure that more and more Lombards take advantage of this convenient service. To confirm the service, individuals can contact the selection and revocation offices of the Asst, pharmacies, doctors, and pediatricians of choice. Additionally, they can activate it through the electronic health record app or access it online through the “profile” section. By selecting “Notifications” and then the “recipes” item, individuals can choose to receive their prescriptions via text message or email.
There is currently no deadline for confirming the service, with the region stating that they will continue until the greatest number of people have done so. This initiative aims to streamline the prescription process and make it more convenient for the citizens of Lombardy.
