Emergency assistance centres, as of 7 January, almost 34 thousand accesses in the 19 CAUs from Piacenza to Rimini – Health

In the first week of January, 5,857 people turned to the CAU. To date, 20 Emergency Assistance Centers are active in Emilia-Romagna and others will open in the coming weeks

January 10, 2024 – I am 33,923 accesses from openings (with different dates) in 19 CAU – Emergency Assistance Centres from Piacenza to Rimini. Alone 5.885 in the first week of Januaryfrom 1 to 7.

It’s the numbers, al January 7, 2024, of this first phase of activity of 19 emergency assistance centers in Emilia-Romagnaof the 20 already active throughout the territory. The last to open is the one in Podenzano, in the province of Piacenza, on 8 January.

The numbers concern, in particular, the CAU of Piacenza, Bobbio (PC); Parma, Fidenza (PR); Reggio Emilia, Correggio (RE); Castelfranco Emilia, Finale Emilia (MO); Budrio, Vergato, Bologna Navile and Casalecchio di Reno (BO); Imola; Comacchio, Copparo, Ferrara and Portomaggiore (FE); Cervia (RA) and Cattolica (RN).

“The new data – underlines the councilor for health policies, Raffaele Donini– confirm that the CAUs are becoming a point of reference for citizens for urgent low-criticality services. The reorganization of the emergency emergency has intercepted a need of our communities and we are certain that, thanks to the work of the professionals involved in the CAU and in care continuity, the CAU will soon become a place of care increasingly in tune with the territories”.

Access by territory

They are overall 33.923 accesses to the 19 CAUs active in Emilia-Romagna since opening (with different dates) e 5.885 in the last week, 1-7 January 2024. Below is the overall data by province and by CAU.

In the province of Piacenza the total accesses were 2.985 (2,676 at the CAU of Piacenza – open from 4 December – and 309 at that of Bobbio, opened on 1 December), in first week of January 525 in Piacenza and 63 in Bobbio.

In the province of Parma 1.775 citizens turned to the CAU: 268 to that of Fidenza (from 28 December) and 1,507 to that of Parma (from 19 December). In the week of 1-7 January, the CAU of Fidenza recorded 171 accesses and that of Parma 531.

In the province of Reggio Emilia the two active CAUs, in the capital since 20 December and in Correggio since 27 December, have recorded 2,721 hits (2,194 Reggio and 527 Correggio). Of these, in the last week, 792 in that of Reggio Emilia e 310 in that of Correggio.

The two CAUs active in the province of ModenaCastelfranco Emilia from December 11th and Finale Emilia from the 18th, have registered 1,383 accesses. Of these in the week of January 1-7 186 in Castelfranco e 148 in Finale.

To the four active in the province of Bologna they turned 7,114 citizens: 2,880 in Budrio (from 1 November), 1,153 in Vergato (from 8 November), 1,131 in Casalecchio (from 18 December), 1,950 in Bologna Navile (from 11 December). In particular, in the week of January 1-7 330 in Budrio, 142 in Vergato, 418 in Casalecchio and 504 in Navile.

At the CAU of Imolahowever, since December 21st they have been 1,101 accesses (441 in this first week of 2024).

They were 4.767 the total accesses in the four CAU in the province of Ferrara: 9,870 at the one in Ferrara San Rocco, 3,003 at the CAU in Comacchio, 2,145 at the one in Copparo (all active from 1 November) and 381 at the one in Portomaggiore (from 10 November). In the week 1-7 January 2024: 421 accesses in Ferrara San Rocco, 150 in Comacchio, 208 in Copparo and 77 in Portomaggiore.

Infine, in Romagna: 1,445 hits from 18 December, of which 812 at the CAU of Cattolica (RA) and 633 at that of Cervia (RN). Last week 276 accesses to the first and 192 to the second.

The CAUs soon to open

The opening of other CAUs is expected in the coming weeks: the January 15th a Fornovoin the province of Parma, a Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN), Cesenatico and Saraceno Market (FC); he 18 in Langhirano, in the Parma area; The January 29th a Food, in the province of Modena; The January 22nd a Ravenna, San Piero in Bagno (FC) e Hagia Sophia (FC), he 29 a Novafeltria (RN).
