Epic will bring an achievement system next week. These include a series of tools that allow developers to quickly and easily initiate platform achievements. This means that starting next week, you can earn experience points by earning Epic achievements in selected games.
Epic achievements will only be open to specific developers and games at the beginning, and it is expected to be open to all developers in a few months. At the time of release, you can expect the achievement system to appear in “League of Fire”, “Hades”, “Pillars of Eternity”, “Chinah: Bridge of Souls”, “Zombie Force: Death War 4” and “Mind Slayer Remake” Waiting for the game.
The achievement system is divided into four levels according to experience value. You can upgrade to Platinum Achievement when you get 1,000 experience points in a single game. The following are the Epic achievement levels and the additional achievement experience points that can be obtained:
- Bronze = 5 to 45 experience points
- Silver level = 50 to 95 experience points
- Gold level = 100 to 200 experience points
- Platinum level = 250 experience points
Epic has also added an achievement details page, where you can share and track your progress. This page summarizes all the Epic achievements that can be obtained in the game, shows your progress in obtaining each achievement, and highlights the Epic achievements you are about to unlock. At present, your collection library can display Epic achievements and your progress in each game. When browsing the store, you can also view all available Epic achievements on the game details page.
At the end of the year, Epic will also add more social features and player rewards, which is worth looking forward to.
